Chilli
This one is originally from Erinn O’brienn’s Instagram, but we’ve made a few slight adjustments to make it our own. It has such great flavor and the perfect amount of spice.

Servings: 8-10
Ingredients
- 6 tbsp oil
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and finely diced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp mustard powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 - 15 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 1 -14 oz can fire roasted tomatoes
- 4 cups beef stock
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp Worchestershire sauce
- 1 -15 oz can black beans - drained and rinsed
- 1 or 2 -15 oz can red kidney beans - drained and rinsed
- Cheddar cheese, sour cream and green onions for garish
Instructions
- Heat oil in large dutch oven over medium high heat. Add in the diced onions and bell peppers and cook for 5 minutes. Add in the jalapeño, and garlic and cook for another 5 minutes. Add in the ground beef and ground pork and cook until browned. Add in all of the spices and cook for a few more minutes until the spices are flagrant.
- Pour in the cans of crushed tomatoes and cook for 3 minutes. Add in the fire roasted tomatoes, 4 cups of beef broth, brown sugar, and worchestershire. Season with more salt if needed.
- Bring to a simmer and add in the beans and cook for about an hour to meld the flavors.
- When serving, top with cheddar cheese, sour cream, and scallions.
