French Bread Pizza

Jump to Recipe

To make your own French bread- this is a great one and so easy!

Recipe from https://handmadefarmhouse.com/my-favorite-french-bread

I like to make the recipe above and then use one for these French bread pizzas and save the other one for eating with pasta that week or freezing for later. It would also be a fantastic idea for a big group of people coming over! The loaves are huge and would make a ton of pizza!

We keep getting busier and busier as our children get older, and one of the things that helps me out the most is meals that I can make that feed us twice. These French breads help me do just that!

Sweet Potato Nachos

Ingredients:

  • Pizza sauce (1 jar)
  • Favorite pizza toppings

What I used:

  • Pepperoni

  • Italian Seasoning

  • Canadian Bacon

  • Mozzarella Cheese

  • Pepperocini

  • Parmesan

  • BBQ Sauce

  • Chicken (cooked)

  • Pepperocini

  • Cilantro

  • Red Onion

  • Mozzarella Cheese

  • Parmesan

Instructions: Cut bread in half (lengthwise), preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place bread on baking sheet. I made barbeque chicken and a pepperoni/canadian bacon pizza, but make whatever you want! Top with your sauce (pizza or bbq), then add toppings (pepperoni/canadian bacon or shredded chicken), then add your cheese, pepperocinis, parmesan, seasonings, etc. Bake for 12-15 minutes in your oven and broil for 1-2 minutes at the end. Top with fresh parsley or cilantro or another drizzle of bbq sauce.

These are also perfect to go! - Let them cool for a few minutes, spray aluminum foil and wrap these up to take them to go!

Enjoy!
