Italian Nachos

Jump to Recipe

In college, we went to Old Chicago at least once a week. Italian Nachos were almost always consumed and many beers were had. It somehow mattered to get that beer tour t-shirt all right?

These Italian Nachos are such a dupe for the Old Chicago ones. They are super simple to make, but anyone who has ever had the Old Chicago version is going to be transported back to the Beer Tour days and thank you for introducing you to this super simple recipe they can make at home.

I always look for the pre-fried wonton chips at our grocery store, but if you can’t find those, you can totally fry your own at home. It would just take a little extra time, but trust me it will be worth it.

Italian Nachos

  • Pepperoni, sliced thin
  • Banana peppers, sliced thin
  • 1 jar of marinara sauce
  • optional toppings- olives, jalapenos, fresh basil

Instructions

Brown your Italian sausage and drain the grease. Set aside.

Place parchment paper on your sheet pan, preheat oven to 400°F. Spread wonton chips out on your sheet pan, top with mozzarella, Italian sausage, pepperoni, banana peppers, and pepper jack cheese.
