Mongolian Noodles
So quick, so easy, such a fantastic week night meal and it satisfies everyone! Add whatever steamed veggie you have on hand and coat it in the sauce….delicious!
Mongolian Noodles
Prep time: 10 minutes | Cook time: 15 minutes
Serving size: 4 to 6 servings
Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef or ground turkey
- 4 tsp minced ginger
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup of beef broth
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 6 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 Tbsp sriacha
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 12 ounce box of Linguine Noodles
- 1 Tbsp corn starch
- 2 Tbsp water
- 4 green onions, diced for garnish
- Toasted Sesame Seeds for garnis
Instructions
Cook your pasta according to package directions.
While you are cooking your pasta, brown your meat in a large, high-sided pan over medium heat. Once meat is browned and drained, add ginger and garlic to the pan and cook for 1 minute.
Mix your soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, hoisin, sriacha, and black pepper together. Add to the pan and let cook for a few minutes.
Mix your cornstarch and water together and add that to the pan. Letting it thicken slightly. (Add steamed veggie to get coated in the sauce)
Add your noodles to the pan and let simmer together for a few minutes until the noodles are coated with the sauce.
Top with green onions and sesame seeds.
