Turkey Meatballs

Jump to Recipe

You won’t be missing beef with these healthier meatballs. Don’t get me wrong…I love a good steak or burger once in a while, but when I can sub a healthier option and not substitute taste…I’m going to do it. And these are definitely not lacking in flavor!

Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble

Prep time: 10 minutes | Cook time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup panko
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup lukewarm water
  • 1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce (Rao’s or homemade for us)

Instructions

Mix all ingredients except your spaghetti sauce into a bowl and mix well. Get your frying pan set to medium high heat and add meatballs (I use my largest cookie scooper to scoop the same amount and roll into balls). Then fry until golden brown flip and then golden brown on the other side. Then add your spaghetti sauce in the pan, turn pan down to low and let cook until they reach a temp of 165 degrees. While they are finishing, cook your pasta and then add the delicious meatballs to your pasta and serve.

Enjoy!
